The reason I didn't name the players was that hte demos while public domain on who could dl them and watch them. I wasn't sure about the fact if they would like the fact, I had done a movie using their demos so thus I left it unnamed and uncredited on kills.
First Movie by myself. Captured, Edited and Butchered to be exact :D

| Definitely give this a chance, because it is one of the few CS movies you will see with great quality made by someone with a good knowledge of encoding in XviD. Finally someone has used anti-aliasing giving the guns and models smooth edges, which is an immediate plus. The movie is very artistic and has a different feel from any other CS movie you will have seen. Subtle effects, great synching, and a very interesting ending sequence give this movie a deserved 9/10 in my opinion. |

This movie is somthing for its own.
not like any other cs fagmovie out there, this hase more frecamming in it witch is done nicly and synced to the music.
two anoying effects, but hey that we can live with.
overall nice vid realy worth the download, recomended to everyone.

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then yeah those effects could be annoying but it was more of a test to get a feel of what people would like about the movie and what they would hate about it.
I'm still learning after all

we are all still learning, I dont think anyone shudd say they have masterd editing.
new ways apear every now and then, its just how it is :D

Ending very suprising :D yeah AA rocks :D quality was very good ;)
Efects on 2m00s to 2m50s i think they were over reacted, should have benn smoother like no completly fade out to black screen, only a few fade out, and the waves before shouldn't be so strong..
But minor detail because the recams, were a huge great factor :D pretty impressive, also that ending was so weeeell :D when you start tu put from the left several shots syc with the music :O

Possibly the best CS movie i've seen so far as far as editing goes. You had some nice effects and the synch is unprecedented compared to the other CS videos out there. Recams definitely added something to the whole feeling of the movie but content wise it was ok. I think that its hard to put out good content for a CS movie for non CS players, but otherwise i (as a CS player) though the shots were pretty impressive.
Great Job, definitely a keeper and the lenght of it adds onto the replay value. =D

Just listened to the audio comentary and it was a great idea except the fact that you prbably should have rehearsed a bit (you sounded nervous and ur voice was kinda shaky) maybe a script would have helped but its no big deal. The commentary overall was a plus and it gave the viewers a cahnce to hear what the editor though about the movie as well as what was the reason behind all the trouble a person goes through to make a quality peice of media.

Wow, i really loved this one.
I usually hate c-s movies because they just seem to be frag´s galore. Can get abit boring at times.
But you have showed me that with good editing, even a frag movie can become very enjoyable.

i tryed to hate-on something in here but u actually put some time into your vid and did some research, unlike all the other CS vids.
The full screen black then back to action was synched but hurt my eyes with the bright then dark was just to many i guess, and IMO replay in the diff angle is better then split screen most of the time, splitscreen there is to much to look at.
great vid for its editing not for its content and thats good :D

ouh i didnt like it THAT much
camera views were sometimes just confusing o_O
frags were good, but ive seen better ones
one really good point here is the editing
unique style and it doesnt look experimental

Yeah I was just testing out different ideas, and should have mentioned that I wasn't quite sure which effects would be liked if any. Hell the only effects really were the opacity settings and the tv sim effect

Again the effects were just a test to see what I could get away with. I tried to stay away from shine/luminance effects. Though you're probably right I should have leered away from using hte fade out effect so much on that section, it does make sense. I'll take that to heart next time and do a litttle more testing on other people's opinions other than just reflex and possibly wary :O
As for the credits, I just wanted very simple credits, it's only really 5 minutes of footage so I just wanted a very simple credit roll. I think I did that. Though for pete's sake, no comments on the whale?

To be honest, I've had this horrible headcold all week, and was really fed up with workin 50 hours along with having a cousin visiting from South Korea. So I decided to finish it up all in one night and get it on the ftp asap. So I was sitting there staring at the moving doing the commentary at 2 in the morning half dazed on nyquil. however I did do a script for the introduction one, as well.. I forgot what I was saying when I was doing it so I wrote a small script :X

Botb you don't have to worry about using their names.
If they don't want to be in a movie, they wouldn't have uploaded their demos, now would they? Even if they didn't want to, there is nothing they could do. This is an ameteur movie, and a fragmovie, so what do they care?
I have never heard of anyone that was unsatisfied by beeing in the movie.

Well as im no CS player, i went into this against CS, but i have to say it did entertain me for those 6 minutes. I think the thing which REALLY captured me was the commontary though, this was a really great idea, and i would also like directors to do a commentary on their movies, im considering doing it for mine, its a really cool idea.
Liked the movie, editing was fine, quality was good, one of the songs seemed a tad repetitive but nothing major, great vid!
