Description:
Long ago we made an announcement regarding a UT1 movie called "Incarnation";
our best and final work in relation to UT1 moviemaking. The project was delayed several times,
mostly because we were just lazy and/or didn't have enough footage/motivation.
After we picked the songs we wanted for the soundtrack, it was down to kuraigu
to create a nice mix, and thus the basis, for our movie. Unfortunately, a few months later
we realised that certain songs were unsuitable and needed replacing.
We received quite a lot of frags throughout the submission period, so you can imagine
that the standard required for inclusion in the movie is pretty high. Of course some of the frags
people sent in were just ridiculous (no offence) and wouldn't even be used in a div3 movie.
On the other hand some frags are among the best we've ever seen.
I'm also convinced that certain players will totally get accused of cheating.

There are 4 versions of this movie, divided into three categories:
== HQ
- resolution: 1440x900
- codec: x264

- looks great even on full HD monitor
- you also need a pretty good PC in order to make this version run smoothly
== MQ
- resolution: 1280x800
- codec: x264 / xvid
- container: mp4 / avi
- should look good enough to maintain its visual quality
- should run well on most computers
== LQ
- resolution: 720x450
- codec: xvid
- container: avi
- I'm convinced this one will look just terribly (:D)
- if you can't get this one to work then ...

| it has some nice frags, but edit and pase is terrible wrong.. 3/5, fooze video is still best UT movie out there. |

Well what can I say.. I'm impressed on the movie of course.
I would have kept the oversaturation down just a bit BUT other than that, I can't complain on the video quality at all. It looks very nice.
And oh, on the beginning (~1:30-1:40, at ginz's air rocket) I can hear some small crackling sounds in the music. But then again I can't tell if it belongs to the music track. :D |

weird.
could say i expected more, but then again, not sure of what more is possible with the ut99 game editing wise.
loved the 'rocket science', cause i knew whats possible and whats actually been done. now tho guess i'm not the one who should be judging it so ill leave it to the ut community.
it just didnt entertain me.

Incredible movie! perfect editing...clearly showing off all the frags and the quality is just INSANE! I like the colours and music as well! by far the best UT1 movie to date :)

deserves good praise-
+ best quality UT movie to date
+ best edited UT movie to date
+ most/best comprehensive frag compilation in UT
Enjoyed soundtrack and the intro was pretty, credit's good.
- alot of public kills, but appreciate the uniqueness of each. Loved the last 5 mins with all the intense match play, but only 1 insta moment boo. :D (to be fair not very well known)
you can only push the UT engine & it's user base so far, blood out of a stone but wiza managed it . ;) well done ! |

Nice movie. I like the visual effect on it and some nice frag. But for a movie made by 2 people ( saying that this is the last movie they will make) I was expecting like a 30 minute or more video.file is huge for a 15 minute movie. other then that it was a good movie. 9.3/10 in my scale =)

Ill start with the bad news:
- didnt like the music that much. didnt give it a very special feeling. I felt like I was listening to a random Radio station.
- no real storyline or general idea (I take it, that was not the intention either, so dont worry)
- didnt like the font+effect on that (on the kill msges)
- like 85% of the frags are from the same person (bleh/paradigm)
The good news
+ Sick editing: must have taken soooo much work!
Some really mindblowing effects, awesome job on that. Especially the bullet with the headshot, omg. Sweet.
+ the fact that the music was mixed, was nice. However, like the shaoling production guys used to do, several audio tracks would have been great (since I dont like this one :P)
+capture quality, very very nice.
+ Also: great idea at the start with the introflags, liked that.
+ The frags: you were right about the level of frags, it was VERY high. (that bleh monsterkill in deck in 1on1 is insane, also the effects). Very very nice kills also by m4tze. I was astonished several times. I was literally shouting in my room of sheer amazement.
Congratulations on the movie, its a keeper for me. You should be proud.

- sniper frags got so boring for me after a while
- music was too happy for a UT movie
- there was no flow: too many tracks that differ from one another, weird ass water part ( thought the movie was going to end here ), ending comes out of nowhere
- intro
- didn't display alot of creativity
+ kill messages and hud
+ effects ( I especially liked the arrows on agony, and the air rocket chart on deck)
+ sick frags
I guess this movie was overhyped, it displayed some amazing frags and cool effects, but it made me feel bored even the first time I watched it.
