looks like a bunch of eye candy just like IRONIATION... however this looks like there's some nice frags in it... that was the only thing wrong with the last movie... zero impressive content.
some of the effects in this trailer are nice... but some are played out... and also un-necessary.
i'm looking forward to the final for sure.

It's pronounced like the english word "success". So the movies' titel is "successful", u know. ;)
Well, when i started playin q3 online in 2001 (my 1st online game) i was thinkin of a nick that is absolutey unique, a nick that no one has on this planet. And after some time "success" got into my mind and i changed the word with some l33t things like the "3" instead of the "e", chrchr. :>
And in the 2 1/2 years playin q3 now, I haven't seen anyone anywhere with my nick. This makes my kinda "proud". ;D
Back to topic: Indeed, the movie will be very sexy. I promise :)

very top left under the: "own-age.com - online game and resources" you'll find the "user menu"
then click the mofo... you should find it from there since you're so elite you spell things with numbers!

Yea, I think the effects and whatnot were fitting. I understood the flow and everything. Very suttle changes with the camera angles (tilting) gives some nice perspectives on everything.
I would suggest this video and I'm looking forward to the final.

well then you didn't understand my comment fei... (keep in mind that I nominated Ironiation for best movies on this site - in the forum not long ago)
I loved Ironiation. The content is strictly what I was talking about... I'm glad that this tailer shows that the content of his next movie is going to be better than his first. (Ironiation was more effects/editing than impressive content)

WarriorOne and a friend of him have their own sound studio.
Well, W.One himself spoke the text in the beginning and i think he reworked it with some FX so that it sounds cool. :)

First, I would like to thank you for the very positive feedback I get every day. It makes me kind of proud that my work entertains so many people...
There are a few people that think i overuse the 3rd Person view, simply i didn't want to show too much of the Fragscenes I use in the Video so i recapped some scenes just for the Trailer in 3rd Person. The final Movie will surely feature MANY great edited 1st Person Scenes and all I can say for now is, that most of the Fragscenes are at a much higher level than the Scenes i used for Ironiation. A goal for a good Moviemaker should always be to make a better movie than the one before, and I think I will reach that goal with ease. But look forward for the final Movie, and judge yourself ;)
Now i'll answer eXtaZi question:

The Program i used was "Sound-Forge 5" and some external effects. So here's how i made the "movie like" sound: - First of all record the Stuff with a very good Microphone (not a headset or smth.) and go as close to the mic. as possible. Speak with a clear, deep voice and record it. Then use a so called "Dynamic Compressor", lower the threshhold a bit and turn the rate to a setting around 7:1. After that the voice should sound really clear and close. Now turn the bass up a little bit with the internal EQ. I used a "Subharmonic Enhancer" calles "MAXBASS" that adds deeper frequencies to the material. The last step would be to pitch the voice a little bit down, I used a setting around 2 halfsteps down. And thats it. If you have a great deep voice the results will be the best. |

hi guys, a lil update for now:
- Warrior.One isn't the producer of the movie anymore, due to lack of time.
but...
- the project is not cancelled, another (known) movie maker has taken over (I won't say who it is at this point ;)
- I re-selected the demos. Now, there gonna be used about 100 demos with ~ 7 minutes pure, top notch fragg footage.
- There is no release date yet...we won't rush the movie. But it when it comes out....you better watch out!! :D

| very nice work. I am so noob to this pt have seen quite a bit of what is on this site. I like how you made the trailer look like a real movie trailer. Good work. What mod is that. I am from IU1.2 and play Battle mod and neither of thise mods allow camera angles like you all use... may have to switch -- having fun with this movie editing |
