New feature inc...

Been thinking about this feature for a long time and now I'm finally starting to move on it. This new feature will change how videos are categorized on the website. I am going to remove the Type and Game attributes to videos and Add a "Category" attribute. This category attribute will allow users to fill in one or more Category Tags such as "Quake 3" or "TrickJumping". All the existing videos will automatically have the type and game category put into this new field.

This will also lead to changing how videos are listed on the main videos page and will lead to new search functionality where you can search by multiple categories.

More to come with this feature soon but wanted to put the info out there.

No release date scheduled, but this will involve some big changes to the site, so don't expect this to be released tomorrow.

You know I don't mean this in a bad way, but is this part of slimming down the code 0_o Or is this not urgent anymore, with the new host?

it does not appear to be an issue with the new host... The site seems to be in fairly good shape and is a lot more stable than before. This new feature will speed up a few pages though. (the video main page, the list page especially)

It is indeed better in a few ways: the pages load much faster, and I haven't experienced a single no-show yet. Faster and more stable!
