5th Contest - New End Date 26th March
Posted on 3.16.08 @ 4:28 AM by [PT] TANIA

First of all, thank you to all the contestants that sent a movie! :)

The admin team was expecting a few more movies, and for that reason the team has decided to extend the entry period a few more days.

Also, since a few people asked for an extension, we've decided to give more 10 days.
We won't give more because we need to respect the ones that followed the original period.

The ones that already uploaded the movie will have that in consideration, and if you want to remake a few things and upload again, you're welcome to do it! (name *_v2)

Good Luck, once again.

New end date is 26/03/2008

w3sp strafes by KOS
Posted on 12.29.07 @ 10:42 PM by spookmineer

Peng! (and ring ring ring)

Another Quake 3 movie, this time "only" defrag strafes by the one and only w3sp (DFWC03 VQ3 winner).

A welcome change to the freestyle trick movies of late (don't get me wrong... I love those as well!).

All the runs are worldrecords, and most of them are performed in CPM mode.

We know KOS from his "KOS CPM runs" movies, and from that experience he knows how to make a smooth movie.

And a smooth movie it is!

This is a masterpiece by KOS, the first music track reminds me of a mellow version of the old OPCpromo movies (not as weird as in his own KOS movies :P ).

Ofcourse, without the excellent content (what else to say...) by w3sp, this movie would probably be ignored by purists.

Suffice it to say, content is *excellent, movie quality and editing are both *excellent as well.

Kos' best movie to date, at times psychedelic in nature, together with the so-controlled movements and sometimes clever shortcuts by w3sp make this a must download!

The half slow-motion at times accentuates the skill to perform some very close calls.

It's also nice to see Pea-impostor in CPM mode, as opposed to his farewell VQ3 time (the one with the funny chats).

The szaq2 run is just insane. Add to that, the credits run is impossible...

You guessed it, I love this movie!

Download. ASAP.
